Eagle Technologies is looking for a PMO (Project Management Office) Engineer to support our growing organization in the Washington, DC area, headquartered in Arlington, VA. This new position will assist with all PMO duties and work with business unit leads, project directors, and subject matter experts to create, document, and maintain policies, standards, and processes consistent with ISO certifications and CMMI maturity. The successful candidate will support all project budgeting and financial reporting activities and ensure timely contract deliverables.

 Responsibilities will include:

  • Generate project budget and financial reports and assist with ensuring timely contract deliverables
  • Support the preparation of cost estimates and other business volume content of business development proposals
  • Work with technical leads/architects to collect requirements and define the scope of work, size the efforts and costs, and reduce risks
  • Support the PMO lead to help members of cross-functional teams to accomplish business unit and project goals, to meet established schedules, and resolve staffing and operational issues
  • Gather supporting data to calculate metrics for measuring key program criteria.
  • Assist with providing regular updates on projects to senior management leaders

 Candidate Profile and Skills:

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be well organized and have a successful track record of providing PMO support. This position requires a familiarity with the management of software development projects, including agile, scrum, and DevOps. Knowledge of cloud, data analytics, cybersecurity, health IT, and earned value management is desirable.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Microsoft Project and SharePoint, is required.

Education, Experience, & Certifications Required:

  • Bachelor of Science degree or higher
  • 3+ years of PMO experience in a software development environment
  • PMP certification
